2025 Camp Registration + Health Policy

Registration Policy

Pre-Registration Deposit

Pre-Registration opens at 12 PM noon on January 11th, 2025. Pre-Registration Deposit (also known as Early Registration) was designed to allow attending campers of 2024 Camp to hold a spot for 2025 Camp with a $500 deposit.

Parents who have already paid the Pre-Registration Deposit have the option to:

  1. Refund the $500 deposit ($25 non-refundable processing fee applies) and give up their spot for 2025 Camp OR
  2. Pay an additional $825 to confirm a spot at 2025 Camp

The deadline to choose an option is January 31st, 2025.

If you’ve pre-registered but failed to complete full registration by January 31st, 2025, your $500 will be automatically refunded to you in the original payment form (minus $25 payment processing fee) and you will lose the spot guaranteed to you through Pre-Registration.

If you decide to register later on, you may still register through general or late registration.

General Registration / Late Registration

General Registration opens at 12 PM noon February 1st, 2025. Registration will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis. Once spots are filled, campers will be added onto a waitlist.

  • General Registration Price (until March 31st, 2024): $1,325
  • Late Registration Price (after March 31st, 2024): $1,525

Discounts

We will not be offering a sibling discount this year, however there are Financial Aid offerings for those who qualify. Please contact us at lyf@tacl.org to learn more about financial aid.

Cancellations due to COVID or Sickness

We will be mandating a PCR or rapid antigen test done within 24 hours of camp drop-off. Please be prepared to show proof (such as a picture) during drop-off.

If your child tests positive for COVID-19 or feels sick enough to stay home from school, please do not come to camp and contact us ASAP via email at lyf@tacl.org

If your child is sick in the 72 hours prior to camp, please do not come to camp. We will unfortunately not be issuing refunds for cancellation due to contracting illness including COVID so we ask families to exercise as much caution as possible leading up to camp.

Health Policy

Covid-19 Vaccination

For LYF Camp 2025, we highly recommend that all participants (campers and staff) are fully vaccinated. However, this will not be a requirement for attending camp.

Please contact us at lyf@tacl.org if you have any questions or concerns.

Masking

Masks will be optional for everyone at camp. However, masks will be required whenever individuals display any symptoms such as coughs, runny nose, etc.

Campers that prefer to wear masks during camp should pack their own disposable masks.

Testing

Either a PCR test or rapid antigen test within 24 hours of camp drop-off must be conducted. Please take a photo of the negative test, as you will need to show this at check in.

If your child tests positive or feels sick, please contact us ASAP via email at lyf@tacl.org.

If your child is sick in the 72 hours prior to camp, please do not come to camp. We will not be issuing refunds for cancellation due to contracting illness including COVID so we ask families to exercise as much caution as possible leading up to camp.

Quarantine

We highly recommend for families to limit contact with other people 2 weeks before camp.

Liability

We will also be requiring parents to sign a 2025 COVID Waiver waiving liability in the case that your child tests positive for COVID-19 prior to check in.

General Ailment Response Plan

If a participant shows any signs of serious sickness (ie. coughing with fever/chills, vomiting, etc.), we will immediately notify the parent/guardian and nurse. If the symptoms continue or worsen, LYF medical staff may contact the camper’s parent/guardian for immediate pick-up.

COVID-19 Response Plan

If a participant shows any signs of COVID-19 (ie. coughing, fever etc.), we will perform a COVID-19 rapid antigen test. We will notify the individual’s parents and have them pick him/her up if they test positive. If a participant tests negative, we will continue to follow the “General Ailment Response Plan” and continue administering COVID-19 tests as necessary.

If the camper tests positive for COVID-19, parents will need to make arrangements to pick up the camper as soon as possible, and contact tracing will begin with testing of the camper’s small group (which includes campers’ roommates).

In the event of camp cancellation due to a COVID-19 outbreak or individual campers being sent home due to any ailments, TACL LYF will not issue refunds.

Communications

In the event that your child needs to be sent home early for any reason, you will be immediately notified and expected to pick up your child as soon as possible. Parents/guardians should be prepared to make arrangements in advance.
