New camp year, but never fear — our 2017 Program Directors are here! Kenneth and Cynthia represent some of our strongest camp veterans, and we can’t wait to see what exciting plans they have in store for us!

Kenneth first heard about TACL-LYF in 2014 while attending college and, through a series of fortunate events, found himself at camp just a few short months later. Over the past two years, he’s enjoyed an exceptionally enriching experience learning from his campers and working alongside peers who share his passion for youth and community development. When he has time to (and he always finds time to), Kenneth naps…anywhere and everywhere. As program director, he is looking forward to building upon the proud history of this organization that has shaped generations of Taiwanese-American identities (including his!), and can’t wait to embark on the next phase of his LYF adventure with his co-PD Cynthia!

Cynthia has been involved with TACL-LYF since the TAYL days as a camper and then as a staff member, program director, and board member. She returns year after year because of the impact TAYL/LYF has had on her individual growth and development throughout the years, as well as the amazing community of caring people who dedicate their time to LYF. When she can, she enjoys baking and lazing around in bed on weekend mornings. Cynthia is excited to have a second opportunity as program director (and to be co-PDs with Kenneth) and looks forward to the continual growth of LYF!
